Natalie Bland: Natalie Bland received her Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2006. She also holds a minor in International Relations. Her first internship with Boeing in Houston on the International Space Station Structural Integrity Team in 2005 led to a full-time position on the same team in 2006. Natalie performs structural analysis on the International Space Station and also provides engineering support to real time space operations by manning the Structure & Mechanisms console in the Mission Evaluation Room. Natalie volunteers as a technical trainer for the International Space Settlement Design Competition held each year for high school students at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. Natalie is interested in leadership, systems engineering and project management. Natalie’s hobbies include anything space-related, leading a small group at church, exploring social media tools, photography, dancing, bicycling, backpacking, and traveling.
